Background of National Crittenton 

National Crittenton is a 137-year-old national advocacy organization with a mission to advocate for social, economic, and political justice working with and for cis and trans girls, young women and gender expansive young people impacted by chronic adversity, trauma, and various intersecting forms of social and systemic oppression. We envision a world in which young people can achieve their potential and live unapologetic lives. Our overlapping goals are to achieve collective power to advance justice and establish affirming social narratives and build ecosystems of support with and for cis and trans girls, young women, and gender expansive young people.
