    The CQI Community invites you to submit a proposal for the 2022 Annual CQI Community Conference. This year's theme is Nurturing Your CQI Garden. The conference will be held November 15 & 16, 2022 at the IHotel in Champaign, IL. 

    This year’s conference will highlight innovative strategies for building, maintaining, and reaping the benefits of an effective 21st century CQI system. CQI systems in the 21st century should reflect an organization's policy, objectives and commitment to quality. This includes authentic engagement of the work force and service recipients throughout the CQI process, engaging in CQI activities that center race, equity and inclusion, and applying well developed quality tools and techniques throughout the organization. 

    We are seeking proposals for 75-minute workshops that feature innovative quality improvement strategies, methods, and tools that are practical, proven, or promising. Preference will be given to workshops that speak to the impact and/or practical application of the chosen topic and provide an opportunity for attendees to discuss how the information shared might be applied in their own settings. Providing attendees with concrete examples and opportunities for hands-on application is highly encouraged.

    Community Transformation Coordinator

    The Community Transformation Coordinator (CTC) serves as a project coordinator, community recruiter, and one of the Community Interest Group Interviewers and Facilitators for the Culturally Responsive Community Transformation (CRCT) model developed by BECOME. CRCT is an innovative model designed to bring residents together to identify their collective goals for social transformation within the boundaries of their neighborhood and collaboratively create pathways to turn their community insight into action. The implementation of a Culturally Responsive Community Transformation Hub will serve to build community capacity and neighborhood transformation with community-driven strategic planning, facilitation, and systems building. The CTC will play an integral role in the development and sustainability of the Community Transformation Hub and CRCT model by organizing community engagement, conducting outreach and recruiting community members for interviews and focus groups, facilitating listening sessions, including interviews and focus groups with community members, and supporting data collection and analysis activities.     The Research Associate at PIE Org will be responsible for moving evaluation and research projects forward through data entry, note-taking, data collection, literature reviews, qualitative analysis, scheduling, and other administrative tasks, as assigned. This position is also responsible for attending various program meetings and preparing follow-up documentation. As a person grows and learns in this position, there will be opportunities to lead their own evaluations and conduct quantitative analysis, as appropriate. This job requires travel to partner organizations around the Chicagoland area and prioritization of tasks to balance the 10-15 different projects assigned throughout the course of a year. Considerable flexibility and accommodation is needed. Client priorities, needs, and expectations often change throughout the course of a project; therefore, the ability to complete tasks in a timely manner, prioritize time, and be responsive is critical to success.
