Strategic Planning Committee

The Strategic Planning Committee has been engaged in a strategic planning process including a SWOT analysis with two rounds of formal input in 2011gathered from members and interested others. The results clarify and enhance our current direction of providing local professional development activities that complement those available through AEA. The Committee will be developing the vision, mission, goals, and guiding principles and the other CEA committees will be developing measurable objectives, strategies, and action plans for their respective goal areas. Our end result will be a brief, focused, easily understandable 1-page strategic plan in the form of a chart along with supporting descriptive text.

Website

The Website Committee is currently working to update the website based on feedback obtained from the website survey distributed in 2011. In March 2012, we added a calendar of CEA-sponsored and evaluation-related events. The enhancements that we are working on include:

A member showcase
A blog
Accepting dues payments online
Enabling members to update the membership directory directly

Elections

Leah Neubauer was re-elected as President for the 2012/2013 term in December 2011.
