Reorganize and Reform. Again? with Kathy Newcomer, PhD

The Chicagoland Evaluation Association (CEA) is pleased to present AEA president Kathryn Newcomer, PhD, presenting on how career managers, evalutors, and staff can keep the political climate in perspective and maintain their focus on the mission and their commitments to public service in the current historical context. We're also very excited to have the Shedd Evaluation team present their ongoing projects as well!

Food will be available, and the presentations will last about an hour total, but all attendees have entry to Jazzin' at the Shedd included, and are welcome to stay until close.

RFPs being accepted - Indiana Evaluation Association's 2017 conference

From our friends as the Indiana Evaluation Association, the Indiana-area affiliate of the American Evaluation Association:

We’re in the process of planning for an all-day conference on October 20th in Indianapolis! This year’s IEA conference theme is Accessible Evaluation, focusing on how to communicate, design, visualize, and disseminate evaluation to increase its use in diverse contexts. Right now there isn’t much on our website, but we are seeking proposals from a diverse group of presenters to be a part of the conference. Proposals are due by June 30th. If you could spread the word within your affiliates, we would appreciate the help! Feel free to send any questions my way.

Emerging from hibernation

If you've been with the CEA for a couple revolutions around the Sun, you may have noticed we hit a bit of a lag between December and the start of the new year's activities. BUT FEAR NOT! WE AWAKE!

Stay tuned in the very near future for additional events, news, and cross-promotion from our neighboring affiliates. In the meantime:
